From “The 36 Views of Fuji” Series The striking design is by Katsushika Hokusai (Japanese, 1760-1849), one of the most famous names in Japanese art. The title is Enoshima in Sagami Province. It is part of Hokusai’s magnificent series the Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji and was originally designed between 1829 and 1833. In each print majestic Mount Fuji appears somewhere in the background.
