Holton H-179 Farkas Mdl Professional Double French Horn QuinnTheEskimo. Here's a VERY GOOD Holton H179 double French horn. The H179 has been one of Holton's most popular horns for years. As the lead horn of the wildly successful Farkas model line, the H179 has built a reputation for being clear-voiced, with a big tone, easy response, and great intonation. This one is in very good playing condition, so-so cosmetic condition. It's missing much of the lacquer and it shows the years, but has no major damage or issues that need attention. Valves are very good, and the horn plays very nicely despite its appearance. Priced low to take the looks into account. Here's a nice professional horn for an affordable price!
