Description   A lovely  heavy English antique   solid sterling silver  double Albert pocket watch chain with nice close/tight silver curb chain links; it has a silver t-bar and a  secure  silver swivel/dog catch and the chain runs through a large centre ring allowing the chain lengths to be adjusted as required. ln  lovely condition   with  English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1910  and  a ttached is a beautiful antique  solid  silver and 9ct rose gold fob medal and also a genuine antique pocket watch key. Weighs a heavy 46 grams (total).

Measurements   M easures approx 15.65 inches (397m m) in length , (end to end) with a further 1.5 inch on the fob chain.

Date   English antique solid sterling silver  with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1910 , (date letter "l") on  the t-bar and on the  silver  swivel/dog catch, so definitely all matching  and there are lion passant silver hallmarks on all of the chain links. T he silversmiths initials on the bar and dog clip are "H.B & S" (Herbert Bushell & Son Ltd -  1911 - 1935). T he attached silver & gold medal is English hallmarked Birmingham 1907. 

Condition  Lovely condition with no splits or repairs and with only minor wear on the chain links, a very nice genuine  antique  example and the   original  silver swivel/dog catch still works perfectly and opens and closes securely.  The antique double-sided silver medal is also in good condition and has a nice period engraved prize inscription and year date. Beautiful silver watch chain with a good heavy silver weight.
