This starts with a lot of high cataloging QV definitives including SG cat #190, several examples of SG cat #170 worth investigating for different dies, some penny reds, lower values of the 1887 series, etc. Then KEVII with the 1902 definitives up to the 1 /- value SG cat #257 as well as many of the lower values present inc. 5d and 4d. This is several £100s catalog value already. Then KGV inc. some of the 1912 series up to the 7d and a 2/6 'sea horse'. Then further KGV issues of 1932, up to the 2 ½ d, KEVIII definitives complete MNH, SG #457 to #460 as well as several examples used. Moving onto KGVI with the 1937 series used complete to the 1/- as well as from 1939 SG #478 and 476 high values 2/6 and 10/- used moving onto to further issues towards the end of his reign with complete series SG #509 to 512 complete to the £1 high value. Finally a large selection of QEII Wilding heads, including many examples of 1955 Castles to 10/- with several examples varieties and printings including occasional doubles.
The Castles here are from various printings including De La Rue, Chalk Paper types, etc. This has been cross referenced against most likely a Michel catalog and these have been organised into 4 distinct printings, 3 of them with values to the 10/- and often several examples to examine.
This eventually is leading onto a lot of topical material, regional definitives, registered delivery stamps. Some of the pre-decimal topicals are not shown in the images as there are many here – there is plenty of material in this stock book.
