Seller: timerunner56 (980) 100%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 293160900950 Good French 8 Day Count Wheel Escapement Clock Movement A very good french 8 day movement with a countwheel escapement. Originally from a french gilt domed clock it would never had a bezel or glass. This very well made clock movement hasn't run for some years and is very dirty with some surface rust to the steel work which should polish off. The two springs are good and fully wound. The dial is enameled with some hairline cracks and a chip along with only one hand. The hand is moving manually in the right way, striking as it should. This movement would fit a hole 92mm in diameter and there is a makers mark 'G.M'? C.M'? and a number '3517' along with '6.9' at the bottom (pendulum size)? Nice early french movement ready for clean/service and is sold as seen not working for parts/restoration with no guarantees or returns.Postal costs refer to UK mainland addressesHappy to answer any questions, either via message or phone ( 07761 432112 ) Terms and ConditionsAll my items are sold for restoration and consequently sold as seen without a guarantee.
