Tiny flowers of cloisonné enamel. Everyday, studs make of 24k gold over sterling silver - with post backs. About 1/2" tall.
The Shashi earrings offered here are vintage stock from the 1970's and 1980's. They were designed by the Shashi Singapuri, crafted by hand, and were part of a line featured on the cover of vogue (quite a handful of times) and numerous other fashion magazines.
Our Shashi and Laurel lines had a good run in the 60's and 70's. In 1980 Shashi switched focus to gemstone jewelry. These pieces were stashed away in the corner of our warehouse. Some 40 years later we're trying to find homes for these beautiful designs.
Every museum creation is an original work of art. Each piece of jewelry is handmade by master artisans from historical designs - each accessory shaped, detailed and embellished using the same age-old techniques as have goldsmiths and lapidaries through the ages.
Recycled metals. Conflict free diamonds and natural gemstones sourced directly from the mines. We've taken great care to create a supply chain that we feel good about, so you can too.
