Gevoso 'Solinger Facharbeit' Straight Razor- Shave Ready

6/8 round point, 21 mm

No rust, pitting or chips the blade is in excellent condition. A few watermarks as can be seen in the photographs.

Original 3-pin faux ivory scales with metal 'Gevoso Germany' inlay

Beautiful etching on the blade face with original goldwash and enamelling in excellent condition- 'Solinger Facharbeit Gevoso'

Top and bottom jimps- unusual design

Full hollow grind

Double stabiliser shoulder

Very little honewear

Tang stamps '131 Gevoso Germany' on front, 'Solingen Made in Germany' on reverse.

This razor has been carefully honed on Naniwa stones and passes the HHT with ease.

Honing Progression:

Chosera 1K- Bevel set

Superstone 3K, 5K, 8K- Pre-polishing

Superstone 12K- Finishing

Stropped on Thiers Issard suede paddle strop, Scurpleworks linen and Horween leather.

This progression gives very consistent results and is my first choice for all of my razors.
