Item:323872133658Thank you for taking your time to look at our listing to help raise funds for our charity. This item has been kindly donated to PDSA to help raise money for sick and injured animals. ITEM DESCRIPTION On sale here we have a German clock that's eligible to be wall mounted. We believe it to be Eight Day Movement once it's been fully wound up. There is an enamel dial as well as a Spring driven regulator. We believe it to be circa 1910. The clock also comes with two keys. There is some paper work about the clock but this seems to have come from an auction. There is also a note from a previous owner on how to put the clock back into sequence. CONDITION We have tried winding the clock up but it doesn't seem to work, there are two keys but one of them is split around the area that slides into the clock and doesn't seem to work (Too loose due to being split) The other key turns one of the dials but not both. The wood is in good condition with some signs of wear, there are some areas that have some dust in some of the crevasses and finer details which will require some TLC to clean. Some of the wooden details that sit at the top of the clock all slide into place but some of the pegs look worn and are starting to thin down, although they do slide into place they do feel loose.Where the glass is connect to the wood, some of the edges are a little grubby from where dirt has managed to get between the small gaps and may require TLC.There seems to be a small segment of the horses leg that's fallen off. Finally the pendulum seems loose also the metal that supports it seems a little bit bent in areas.
