Description A nice large English a ntique 18th Century Georgian solid sterling silver toddy/whisky ladle in lovely condition and dating from around 1760 - 1780 . An impressive 14.5 inches in length, it has a circular silver bowl with double spouted sides and has a genuine King George II silver sixpence coin dated 1751 inset into the base. Complete with its original twisted horn handle and still has its silver end finial. There are no added personal inscriptions.
Measurements Measures approx 14.5 inches (367mm) in length; the bowl measures 3.25 inches (84mm) x 2.2 inches (57mm) and is 1.5 inches deep. Date English antique Georgian solid sterling silver, unmarked as is usual with these genuine 18th Century examples, 100% guaranteed antique silver and dates from around 1760 - 1780. The inset 1751 coin is genuine and also guaranteed silver. Condition Lovely condition with no obvious splits or repairs, definitely no wear/polish holes and no nasty knocks or dents, a very nice genuine antique example. More uncommon model with double spouted bowl and the twisted horn handle still has its silver end finial. There are no added personal engraved inscriptions.
