PANSY WINTER FLOWERING - HIEMALIS MIXED - 550 SEEDS

Item Description

This hardy winter pansy (often used as a half hardy annual) is a reliable and colourful mix, also very early flowering. The plants are compact and deliver a stunning display from early spring (Jan/ Feb) through to May of large blooms in a mix of distinct vivid colours, many with black eyes.  Ideal for borders, pots and baskets alike.

 

·          Sow May through to Aug at 1.5mm deep in good seed compost for early spring displays.

·          Excluding light will enhance germination which usually takes 14-21 days at 19-24C.

·          When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow in cooler conditions.

·         G radually acclimatised to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out, 15-20cm apart in most soils, sun or part shade.

·          Late summer sowings should be planted out in early autumn or moved to a cold-frame for planning out in early spring.

Product Notes

The majority of our seed are now supplied in quality clearly labelled foils to ensure the freshness of seeds. A small number will be in sealed Ziplock pouches dues to seed size. Note cultivation advice is not attached on packets supplied as this allows us to keep packaging to a minimum and supply such high counts of quality seed at a fraction of high street prices. Full cultivation is provided above which can be copied or printed for those that require them.
