Excellent genuine 170 year old watch, in good working order, with a quality ornate decorative brass movement, which is signed and numbered and it is housed in a heavy sterling silver case with extra hinged front lid and original domed protective glass front. It also has its original white enamel dial and brass hands. It is still a pretty good timekeeper for its age and is a strong runner. There are no exterior inscriptions, the name of the original owner is engraved inside the rear cover. Complete with brass watch key for winding. A fine early silver pocket watch. The silver case is also in good condition with no splits or nasty knocks or dents, just a couple of minor bruises, but really nothing much at all and it is 170 years old. The original enamel dial is in very nice condition, no cracks, it has a minor little edge rim chip at the bottom, not visible when the glass cover is closed. The glass is also original, it has no cracks or hairlines just minor age scratches from use. A fine early WORKING English antique silver pocket watch.
