Remarkable!! ~ This amazing length of antique French fabric dates from the very early 1800's . This fabric may have been printed at the Jouy factory and it is very reminiscent of some of the latest borders and floral designs from the factory. This fabric is a light weight chintz , lightly glazed . The border is remarkably beautiful too! ~*~ This fabric was printed using hand carved wooden blocks and has the most wonderful picotage ground pattern. The colors include:  reds, pinks, soft pale blue, muted purples, neutrals ~ The fabric is a light to medium weight  and not suitable for upholstery projects as it's just too light in weight. It's ideal for hanging , decorative pillows, framing, lampshades, design reproduction etc. ~( please see my other listing for matching panels )     ~*~   ( PR 87)

MEASUREMENTS: This stunning panel measures : 31 wide by 106 inches long!!! 

CONDITION : This piece is freshly laundered!  The top half of the panel is in poor condition with splits and tears and holes and fading. The bottom half is in far better condition but still has some tiny pin holes scattered about. There are some long splits in this fabric ~
