Item:382709505109~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ A rare and wonderful panel of antique French printed fabric, dating c1850-1880. This panel was almost certainly printed in Mulhouse. The design is the most wonderful stylized floral with Indienne influence ~ the ground tone has aged to a warm , deep ivory tone . SO SO SO beautiful ~*~ The colors on this panel are still wonderfully saturated! They include: teal, reds, purple, pink, beige and cream. This design was meant to simulate the fabulous 18th century Inidienne designs found on printed chintz palampores of a much earlier time. The fabric is a heavy weight, densely woven nubby homespun cotton with a small amount of linen in the mix. Very very sturdy. It is constructed by seaming two widths of the gorgeous fabric down the center ~*~ This curtain has trim on the left facing side and the original rings for hanging still intact at the top. It is backed in a natural cotton ~ I've chosen to keep this panel in as found, unwashed condition , however I have laundered one of the matching bedspreads of this collection ( please see my other textiles for matching pieces) and it washed so wonderfully! The ground became brighter and paler but the lovely tones remained the same. ( please see condition details below) *~ ( please see my other textiles for matching panels ) ~*~ ~*~ ( PR 6161)MEASUREMENTS: this lovely piece measures approx. 41 inches wide across the top where it is pleated. The length is approx. 92 inches inches long and the width is 60 inches wide ~*~ ( I have multiple panels available, please change the quantity button above if you require more than one matching panel ) Condition : This textile is in as found, unwashed condition with storage dust. This panel has some water marks that may not fully wash! ~ There are some pale marks too that may or may not fully wash. This panel has some gentle uneven fading. This panel is generally in gorgeous condition, however not without the signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful antique pieces ~*~ ~ ~*~You will never have to pay any Customs or Duty charges on my textiles posted to an address within the United States, as I have already imported all of my European textiles and have paid any fees for you~*~ My shipping is always fast, so you can expect your purchase to arrive between 1-3 days after payment within the USA~*~ I always happily combine shipping charges to save my customers money on postage~~All of my textiles are wrapped in acid free tissue and posted in water tight wrapping at no extra charge to my customers*~* . ~ Please see my other Antique French fabric auctions by clicking View Sellers Other Items~*~
