FABULOUS ANTIQUE FRENCH "BOUGIE" CANDLES WOODEN PINE BOX KEEPSAKE BOX c1890 A lovely collectable box, a perfect display piece or keepsake box. Made to store Excelsior candles in, remnants of printed labels as well as a handle to one end that suggests that this box was a drawer and probably part of a shop display unit. There is a small sliver of wood missing from the inside of the box which doesn't effect it's sturdiness but is mentioned for accuracy, last photo. Signs of obvious use. Measures: Length - 13.1/2" (34.1/2 cms) Width - 9" (23 cms) Height - 4.1/2" ( 11.1/2 cms) Sent tracked, signed for and insured POSTAGE Postage quoted is for "Colissimo".
