AS PURCHASED FROM A CLOSED CLOCK REPAIR WORKSHOP.

Here we have a most spectacular wall clock by GUSTAV BECKER of GERMANY, you will note the beautiful Art Nouveau dial with matching decorated pendulum, the design is typical of the Nouveau period finished in solid brass and copper with a rampant Cockerel surrounded with swirls and Tudor roses, really impressive.

The movement is a Gustav Becker of Germany 8 day ting tang movement striking on double gongs, the movement needs the restoration, its complete but not working, its fully wound and comes with a key, so the movement will need looking at and repairing.

The Mahogany case length is 32 inches in,13 wide and 6 inches deep. And is in excellent condition, it has removable side panels / sound frets, glazed door with catch.
