Seller: timerunner56 (949) 100%, Location: Bournemouth, Dorset, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 293146891893 English Regency Mahogany Double Fusee Bracket ClockA top quality English double fusee bracket clock from the Regency period. This high end clock comes in a delightful mahogany case. The silvered brass dial is hand engraved and is signed 'Garland, Plymouth'. The movement has five pillars and shaped plates which is a sure sign of quality and was probably made in London, all of which looks original with no spare holes. The London shaped regulator pendulum is excellent. The clock is running nicely and has the original bell stand and brackets. The side of the case has fish scale frets and side rings. When I bought this piece it was missing its pineapple finial, but fortunately I had one in stock that will fit it well. The front glass has bubbles consistent with early glass so all looks original to the clock. The mahogany case has a beautiful mellow colour but there are some losses of veneer and mouldings and some old repairs , so some restoration needed on the case. Please view photos as it is part of the overall description. There is a lock to the front and back doors and a key which operates both. The clock is working well but not rigorously tested so sold as seen, not working properly for restoration only. I do not attempt to clean or restore my clocks so this delightful original piece is offered as a terrific restoration project with no guarantees or returns. Measures 16.25in high (no finials) x 11in wide x 7in deep approx. Once restored it would be worth several thousand pounds in a antique clock shop, a genuine top quality clock.Happy to answer any questions, either via message or phone ( 07761 432112 ) Terms and ConditionsAll my items are sold for restoration and consequently sold as seen without a guarantee.
