Item:253931800356An early 20th century - maybe late 19th century - wall/mantle clock by Junghans of Germany. Needs restoration because although the movement is free moving, it doesn't work for more than a few minutes and the mechanism doesn't drive the hands unless you push the minute hand to the right. The dial is white with Roman numerals but is a little warped. A previous owner has tried to tinker with the movement but wasn't too careful about putting it back so some damage has been done to the movement mount, plus someone has painted the case with gold paint, again not very well. It has been overwound on both the movement and the chime mechanism but the springs seem ok. Overall, the clock would respond well to restoration and emerge as a little gem. It measures 47 x 28 x 13cm approx. Has its key.Clock Type:Wall Clock, Age:Antique, Post-1900
