Seller: rollemclock (987) 100%, Location: Wakefield, Ships to: GB & many other countries, Item: 333299280021 Hi and welcome to my auction. You are bidding on a beautiful, fully restored both movement and case early 12" Georgian Convex Dial Clock - signed John Harper, Goswell Street. Recorded in Brian Loomes Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the world established from 1802 - 1824. The movement has been stripped, cleaned & oiled, mainspring cleaned & oiled/greased. The movement has new gut line. The case is of mahogany and sympathetically restored showing great patina, having a nice slim wooden surround. The convex brass bezel is cast, I have left this in its original condition which I think compliments the clock but the new owner may decide to clean and polish it. The moon shape hands are of blued steel which compliment the dial. Movement keeps good time and runs for a full 8 days. I realise I haven't included any pictures of the pendulum or key, these are present and will be included with the purchase of the clock. Please study all pictures as they form part of the description, any questions please ask. You are quite welcome to view before purchasing. I will wrap in double walled boxes but cant be held responsible for broken glass but will do my upmost to make sure this doesn't happen. I have listed a modest Buy It Now price, taking into account the full restoration the clock has been through, and feel it is good value for money based on some of the other clocks listed on eBay. Happy Bidding!! Age: Antique, Pre-1900, Type: Wall Clock
