It is segmented on cloth and folds down into 36. It comes in its original box, bearing a green label on the front. It is dated 1910 and is labelled Davies’s Map of London and its Environs, showing the new railways, stations and other improvements. It is attributed to Edward Stanford of London, ‘Geographer to His Majesty the King’. It is designed on a scale of two inches to a mile. It measures approx 29x45.5 inches in size. There are some small holes at the corners on the outer border. These appear to be drawing pin holes where the map was once pinned to a wall. The map itself is colour and detailed, a lovely example of its era. The map is on one side only and so is suitable for framing ans display purposes. Very collectable. Year: 1910, County: London, Era: 1910s, Cartographer/Publisher: Edward Stanford, Type: City Map, Date Range: 1910-1919, City: London, Country/Region: United Kingdom
