Another thing to say is that if you have a personalised rig, it will take a bit time to make.

I've had so many enquiries both here and my own shop, that I am now making these holsters to order.


Now, what you are looking at is a customer's Western rig, I recently made, but I am happy to make a similar style for you re-enactment folk out there.

At this point, I must thank my customer for being kind enough to do some really nice photos for me. Much better than my poor attempts.

This Western holster, is made from 3.5 to 4mm veg tan leather, and is based on a classic Tandy pattern belt holster for the full size Colt 45, or most other guns.

It is hand tooled and hand stitched, and is shown with a Denix Replica Colt 45 with a 5 1/2" barrel, which is NOT included in the sale (display only), but a longer barrel gun will easily fit.

I can include up to 6 bullet loops on the belt in the price shown, and can add more at an additional cost. Just contact me to discuss your requirements.

I also make period re-enactment belts and holster, along with bullet pouches, and powder flask pouches.


Working with leather is my hobby, and making unusual items is part of the fun. I am still a mere amateur, but we never stop learning through our lives, do we.

Also meant to say, I made ordinary trouser belts, and bullet/money too, so don't be shy about asking for one to be specially made to match your holster.
