This beautiful vintage teddy bear was made by the Chad Valley Co during the late 1940s and is made from a lovely curly gold coloured mohair.  Mohair is thinning in some areas such as left arm (probably from being carried around by a child) and at bottom of legs - wear . He is fully jointed and is stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and kapok stuffing with a non working squeaker in his tummy. Teddy has two black dots on fabric for eyes, but teddydoes have his original black stitched nose and mouth.. Please see photos for condition of pads - three of the pads are lovely, just age worn with left pad as shown in photo.  All pads made from brown rexine material.
