This RP postcard is titled " High Street & Church, Cromer ". The publisher is Sweetman of Tunbridge Wells for the Cromer Holiday Fellowship Centre, card No. P.1376. Not postally used, dates, I think to the late 1950's.

Condition (see below for details of grading system): Very Good ( ) : corners may be slightly blunt or rounded and may have very small light creases, edges may have light rubbing and tiny bumps, and any larger creases or bends to the card will be light and not too obvious from a front view . Any album marks or other marks to the front, discolouring, bits of grubbiness or browning on the reverse will be light in nature. There may be light curvature to the card (more likely with real photo (RP) cards). May be postally used or have writing on reverse. Overall still a very collectible card. Please mouse over images for a closer look.

Please note surface mail or first class inland mail options are always available, please ask for a quote.

I will always combine postage on multiple buys and I always refund any excess postage charges. Postage quoted will cover a bundle of postcards.

Overseas postage - I only charge what it costs me to send the item. I do pack my cards well to withstand a long journey and to try and ensure that they are well protected against damage and weather, this means that the package does not fit through the 5mm letter slot and is sent as a Large Letter. I can however send many postcards for the same cost as one.

Take a look at my other auctions and ebay shop items for more collectable items.

I try to be consistent in grading my cards but if you have any questions, or if you would like a detailed description of a particular card please contact me (in plenty of time if it is an auction) and I will provide this.

Postcard Grading System

From March 2015, to save time and for better consistency, I am moving over to using the postcard grading system set out below. I already include good quality scanned images of both front and back, which you can expand by putting the cursor over the centre of each image, and from March, instead of a bespoke, detailed description of a card, I will include the full text of one of the categories below to indicate the condition of each card.

Plus or minus grades – if the given grade is followed by a “+”, then I judge the card to be at the top of the range for that grade. If followed by a “-”, then it is at the bottom of the range, or may have a little crossover with the grade below.

Mint - unused - looks as if it was straight off the printing press – will very rarely apply to the cards I sell.

Near Mint - unused - edges and corners may not be quite as sharp or crisp; may be very lightly discoloured from being in an album or from exposure to light.

Excellent - may have some very slight wear to corners, edges and front, none of which detracts significantly from its desirability for a collection. May also have light discolouring and may be postally used or have writing on reverse

Very Good - corners may be slightly blunt or rounded and may have very small light creases, edges may have light rubbing and tiny bumps, and any larger creases or bends to the card will be light and not too obvious from a front view . Any album marks or other marks to the front, discolouring, bits of grubbiness or browning on the reverse will be light in nature. There may be light curvature to the card (more likely with real photo (RP) cards). May be postally used or have writing on reverse. Overall still a very collectible card.

Good - overall the defects will be more pronounced – affecting the picture side of the card to a noticeable extent. Defects may include creases, bumps, ridges and indentations, wear to edges, layer-separation at corners, light marks and bits of grubbiness to front and rear, and some curvature or warping to the card . Still good enough for a collector – especially if a rare or unusual subject.

Fair - Card is intact but picture is affected by more significant soiling, staining, creasing, marks, cancellation marks, wear to edges and corners, writing etc.

Poor - Card is probably incomplete and picture is seriously affected by the damage – a gap filler only, I only list such cards if subject is rare or very unusual.
