We present a dramatic expansive landscape study, an etching, lions from a vantage of a high point encroaching on an encampment.  An inscription by a contemporary hand to verso, erroneously attributes this to Sir Edwin Landseer,(British, 1802 – 1872) as a pen and ink original.  We dispute this, it is a printworks but heightened in pen/ink in our assessment,  dating c1880 – 1900 in our opinion.  Unfortunately, this printworks has been trimmed and mounted to board, denying us the opportunity to inspect the paper and review publication details.  Presented in in very good condition, unframed, in a suitable mount  his painting will look fabulous displayed.
