CELEIA-  2022 crop  • 2.1% Alpha Acids • Dual purpose hop. This distinguished variety is well known throughout the world and although identical to Fuggle in many ways it does have its own distinctive characteristics. The perfume-like hoppy character that was again used mainly in European lagers works very well in the less malty flavoured, golden-coloured beers. Strong aroma, mild bittering.

JARRYLO - 20 2 0  crop • 13% AA • Jarrylo's aromas can be classified as unique in the sense that along with its orange, strong lemon lime, and a clean, bright white wine characteristics, it differs from Citra and other citrus scented hops. Brewers tend to use this hop more as a finishing hop but its high alpha acids can give way to a clean bitterness if used early on. NECTARON -  2023 crop  • 11.5% AA • With its Pineapple, Passion Fruit and Stone Fruits Character, it's perfect for late addition hopping. IPA's, NEIPA's etc... come to mind

NELSON SAUVIN -  2023 crop  • 12.3% Alpha Acid • Bearing the name of their closest aroma descriptor, Sauvignon Blanc grapes - "crushed gooseberry" is the term most commonly used with perhaps a hint of grapefruit. Alpha acids in the low double digits mean they are a great dual-purpose hop, with low cohumulone, good oil content, and an overall uniqueness that is taking many brewers by surprise. Underlying notes of distinctive New Zealand spiciness: black pepper, mace, and allspice are common. Commercially, Nelson has been used in everything from pale lagers and pale ales to Belgian ales and Weizenbock.

When brewed, expect intense fruity and floral notes. These include flavours of sweet tropical fruits and complex aromas of mango, elderflower and e ven a hint of violet. Used for Pale Ale, IPA's, DIPA's, etc.

SUPERDELIC™ - 2023 crop  • 9.46% AA • In a pale ale or IPA it revealed its ripe mango, sweet berry, and citrus notes. We also noticed its great biotransformation properties from dry hopping during active fermentation. Pairs well with Citra, Simcoe, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Riwaka.

TARGET -  2023  crop  • 10% Alpha Acids • Dual Purpose Hop • Widely used for high alpha acid content combined with an acceptable aroma. Pleasant English hop aroma, quite intense. Used For: Robust bittering. British ales and lagers

TETTNANG -  2022 crop  • 2% Alpha Acids • Finishing Hop • Fine, very spicy, mild, floral, very aromatic. Recently established in the U.S., traditional German variety, true noble aroma variety.  Used For: US-Style Ales, Wheats, Lagers, Pilsners

VIC SECRET -  2022 crop  • 17% Alpha Acids • Lighter and less dominant than Galaxy™, yet there is still more than enough character for Vic Secret™ to embelli sh the world of beer flavour. BREW TIPS: The clean, distinct fruit and pine characters of Vic Secret™ are best accessed by dry hopping or whirlpool additions. Late kettle additions have been found to impart a pleasant earthy character, but little fruit. She has very high levels of alpha acid so brewers may find it easier to craft the right balance in their beer  by dry hopping.

WAI-ITI-  2022 crop  • 2.3% Alpha Acids • A New Zealand hop with with its peach, apricot, stone fruit & citrus aroma make this Kiwi hop a perfect late addition hop. Used For: Most light coloured beers & New World Ales

WAIMEA-  2023 crop  • 14.65% Alpha Acids • Pine, citrus and Mandarin  aromas. Used For: Hoppy and highly bittered beers.

WARRIOR -  2021 crop  • 11.7% AA • Dual purpose hops • Known for its mild aroma with grapefruit, lemon and some piney notes. Great bittering qualities for IPA's.

WILLAMETTE -  2022 crop  • 4.4% Alpha Acids • Finishing Hop • A joyous harmony of flowers, fruit, earth and spice. A quality aroma hop with a smooth soft flavor. Used For: All English-Style Ales, US Pale Ales, US Brown Ales, American Lagers, Porters

ZAPPA -  2021 crop  • 5.3% Alpha Acids • A US hop bomb. Aromas of spice, mango, passion fruit, citrus & pine. Great for IPA's NEIPAs, Fruit Beers and Pale Ales.

CROSSMYLOOF HOP MIXES

ATLANTIC DRIFT -  2021 / 2022  crop • 7.2%AA. A fine blend of 3 hops perfect for a Goose Island type IPA. A blend of US Cascade, Pilgrim & Styrian Goldings. ​

FALCONER'S FLIGHT BLEND -  2021 crop  • 12.6%AA. This is a commercial blend, so we're not entirely sure what's in it. It's most likely a bunch of US 'C' hops like Citra, Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Chinook and a few others, but we really don't know :/

GAMMA RAY TWIST -  2021/ 2022 crop  • 11.5%AA. A blend of hops to help brew Beavertown's Gamma Ray pale ale

 

MĀORI MINGLE  2021/ 2022 crop  • 8.6% AA. A mix of citrusy New Zealand hops, giving a burst of mango & papaya aromas. 100g late addition/dry hop will do just nicely in a 23 litre pale ale, but adding another 100g will really hit the mark for an IPA

NECK OIL BLEND -  2022 crop  • 12.9%AA. A mix of all the hops in Beavertown's Neck Oil (minus the Columbus bittering addition)

 

NEIPA Mix -  2022 crop  • 11 % AA. A mix of the 4 big hitters to suit a really hoppy beer. Each 100g pack contains 25g Citra, 25g Mosaic, 25g Simcoe and 25g Amarillo. A dry hop of 100g will give a lovely citrusy aroma, but a 100g late addition (say 5 minute boil) and and extra 100g dry hop will really hit the mark

NEW ZEALAND PUNCH -   2022 crop  • 8% AA. A punchy blend of tropical fruits & citrus New Zealand hops. The mix of Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Kohatu, Riwaka & Pacific Sunrise  is perfect for tropical pales and in your face lagers

 

PUNK'D UP! (2010 RECIPE MIX) -  2 021/ 2022 crop  • 10% AA. A Blend to match Punk's 2010 recipe that's widely available on their DIY Dog site. Each 100g Pouch contains 32g Chinook (US), 23g Willamette or Ahtanum (whatever we have on hand at the time), 17g Simcoe, 11g Nelson Sauvin, 13g of Cascade (US) and 3g of Amarillo. To get that Punk finish in a 23 litre brew they recommend a 100g wihirpool addition & 200g dry hop addition. *Note the bittering hops will have to be added separately of brewing from scratch

 

RUSSIAN RIVER PLINY THE ELDER -  2022 crop  • 13% AA. A mix of hops to clone the fabulous Pliny the Elder. Each 100g includes 16g Columbus, 51g Simcoe and 33g Centennial. In a 23lt brew we recommend using 200g split 50/50 between a flavour addition (say a 5 minute boil) and a dry hop aroma addition. *Note the bittering hops will have to be added separately of brewing from scratch

STAR DUST -  2 021/ 2022 crop  • 11.1% AA. A mix of 10 Space themed hops including Galaxy, Apollo, Comet, Cluster, Strata & a few more. Great for IPA's and the like.

 

THORNBRIDGE JAIPUR -  2022 crop  • 8.8% AA. The mix is based on the original recipe. Each 100g Pouch contains 35g Chinook (US), 26g Centennial & 39g Ahtanum (or Willamette). To get the best use out of it for a 23 litre brew we recommend a 35g flavour addition (boil for 5 minutes or so) and 65g at flame out with a 20 to 30 minute hops stand. *Note the bittering hops will have to be added separately of brewing from scratch

TROPICAL ENGLAND -  2 021/ 2022 crop  • 6% AA. A mix of English grown hops including Jester, Olicana, Godiva, Mystic, Archer & Now with Harlequin that will infuse a tropical aroma into a refreshing English IPA with a difference. 100g late addition/dry hop will do just nicely in a 23 litre brew, but adding another 100g will hit the mark.

 

US 'C HOP' MIX -  2 021/ 2022 crop  • 11.6%AA. A blend of US 'C hops' like Citra, Centennial, Columbus, Chinook, Crystal, Cascade and a few others. Perfect for any pale, IPA or NEIPA.

 

WORLD9 -  2 021/ 2022 crop  • 9.4% AA. A lovely grapefruit/pineapple blend of 9 hops from around the world, i.e. New Zealand, Europe, The UK and The USA. A 100g to 200g late addition/dry hop in a 23 litre brew will be perfect for a light tropical pale ale
