Seller: regencyclassic (541) 100%, Location: City of Brighton & Hove, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 183888095401 Joseph BRAMAH Writing Slope Lock, Keep Plate and Escutcheon Plate. Rare locks to source now. Most of these locks are a standard size. The 'Bramah' lock is made in London. It was the finest lock of its time and the company is still going. This lock has an anti pick design and would of been on a quality box of its time and the key has to be pressed in and held pressed in when turning to lock or unlock it. I do not have a key for this. I can not say if the lock is in working condition, I am not a locksmith. Keys can be sourced at most locksmiths. Has the words - BRAMAH PATENT LONDON - stamp on it. Lock has slight slope to end with writing on it, this is for the angled slope of a writing slope box. Came from writing slope salvage.
