Presenting an exceptionally fine Blanc de Chine porcelain figurine produced by the quality Danish makers, Bing & Grondahl. This stunning piece was designed by the legendary Svend Lindhart as a part of the "Four Aches" series depicting a charming series of four young children with varying ailments, arguably Lindharts most iconic designs for Bing and Grondahl. This exceptional piece, model number 2206, depicts a young boy with a headache. The beautifully modelled cherub-like figure is captured in a squat position upon a pedestal base with both hands holding his angelic head. The child's face is beautifully detailed with fine facial features. This stunning piece is finished in a crisp white Blanc de Chine glaze which beautifully reinforces the innocence and purity of the young child. SIZE: This delightful figurine stands approx 115mms tall and measures 43mms in diameter. CONDITION: This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for as a display item and presents spectacularly. MARKS: This piece is beautifully stamped to the base with a Bing and Grondahl Made in Denmark stamp and also features the model number and impressed designers name.
