A genuine and original Bradley Pale Yew dining table with 6 Hepplewhite style Wheatear chairs, which has come from the dining room of a beautiful country house and only used for special occasions.
When not in use the table has been protected with a purpose made felt cover and this has kept it in excellent condition and prevented it from suffering dryness, fading, lacquer crazing and sun damage, which is very rare to find.
The top also has no cloudy or opaque patches caused by heat damage from plates or cups, or crockery scratches, which again is rare to find. The only flaws are a couple of very tiny (pinhead size) superficial marks on the edge of the centre section, which are only visible on very close scrutiny, hence I would describe the overall condition of this table as exceptional.
The chairs are also in lovely condition and the cream bases are immaculate too. They all have fire regulation labels attached underneath the seats.
The table is supported with twin pedestal legs, (which can easily be removed for ease of transport) and antique brass claw feet with conealed castors.
Bradley are renowned for their craftsman built high quality furniture and this particular set would cost new in excess of £2500, with an additional premium included for the Pale Yew finish.
