I am a proud mum of two energetic boys

One has ADHD and possible Autism (still in the referral process). He used to chew through his t-shirts, trousers knees or anything he could find made of fabric. This was because of his sensory needs, he found chewing on fabric relaxing and it helped him to concentrate at school.

His teachers became a little concerned as if he couldn't chew on something he would begin to show signs of being anxious.

I am a childcare practitioner and have worked in education for over 15 years. So I came up with the solution of a necklace made out of t-shirt fabric. The teachers agreed that he could use this at school as it had aBreakaway Clasp and was in his school uniform colours.

(Yours don't have to be in uniform colours they can reflect your favourite colours/styles/personality instead)

Lots of parents, teachers and other professionals saw my son's necklaces and showed interest.

SO MY T-SHIRT NECKLACES and now fabric and silicon necklaces WERE DESIGNED.

All necklaces are between 19inch and 23inch in length, all fit both my son and my husband.

Necklaces can be hand-washed.

( I recommend 2, so one can be washed and one can be worn)

Necklaces are inteneded to be placed on and off over the head (the snap/popper clasp is for quick release not placeing necklace on and off)

This will ensure the longevity of your necklace and clasp.

Fabric meets OEKO-TEX 100 standards

Fabric items are hand made from t.shirt fabric.

This means that they have all the same characteristics as cotton t.shirts for instance

They have the natural potential to fray

Dye may bleed onto adjacent fabrics when wet as t.shirts do

It holds moisture

They dry quickly after hand washing
