Pancratic 4-lens eyepiece with powers engraved on eyetube; x15; x20; x25.
Eyecup eyewink intact and secure and functional.
Signed "DOLLOND, LONDON, 9583 THE CODRINGTON", signature also has the Viking helmet logo.
Minor dent on barrel barely noticeable.
Drawtubes and glare shield nickel plated. Drawtubes withdraw smoothly and firmly. Shouldered drawsleeves in excellent condition.
Optically & mechanically sound. Image is crystal clear from edge to edge & snaps into sharp focus.

OG edge has some minor chips which are beyond the entrance stop and therefore cannot effect the image.
This telescope would have been made by the House of Dollond during the Edwardian era. The design is intentionally horn shaped and intended for use during a hunt.
Dollond of course was a well established London firm at this time having been founded in 1752.
It merged with Aitchison in 1927 .
