Vintage wooden stationery box  It has writing slope on top  with 4 small drawers inside and interesting brass lock plate on the front. for restoration Size (approx,.): 16.5cm tall at back and 9cm at front x 34.5cm wide x 32.8cm deep (front to back side) Condition: The wood is worn, especially at the edges.  The base covering is worn and the 2 planks need tapping together.  Inside is  grubby and ink stained  Missing lock and key. Has brass hinges which work well - they look like they have been replaced and in a different position.  Inside are 4 small drawers - the left hand ones move smoothly - the right are a bit stiff. They are grubby/stained inside but structurally sound. The lid doesn't close right down on the lower front but it slightly raised. Restoration project for a vintage enthusiast
