Seller: moonchildbooks (5.762) 100%, Location: Seattle, Washington, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 312771180634 This auction is for a vintage (antique or close to it!) photo of a group of girls drinking from bottles of soda pop behind a Whistle soda pop sign. There is a young man standing behind the group. I’m guessing he may be a soda pop delivery driver with his delivery truck but I’m not certain at all. Not sure what that equipment on the right side of the photo either. There is NO date or location written on this photo. Internet research shows that the Whistle brand of orange soda was trademarked in 1916. The vehicle has a Washington state license plate. I’m guessing this photo dates from the late 1910s or early 1920s. Photo has been trimmed unevenly. Whole photo measures approx. 4-3/4” x 3-1/4” with the actual image a bit less due to the white margin. Please read this description and review the close-up scans carefully. Image is a bit dark as you can see. Photo has been trimmed unevenly. Photo has bumped corners. Photo surface has considerable scuffing/scratching along with some light dirty smudges. Photo is not smooth due to lots of handling. Back side has large patches of black paper from being removed from an album (not by me). NO writing anywhere. NO weird or musty odors. The red “moonchildbooks” blurbs do not appear on the actual photo. I am happy to combine orders to save on shipping costs. I take great care in packaging your photo using a cardboard photo mailer with extra cardboard reinforcement. As always, feel free to send me a message if you have any questions. I prefer to offer this photo in an auction format and NOT with a Buy-It-Now price. MOONCHILD'S LOW-STRESS PAYMENT/SHIPPING INFORMATION: Highest U.S. bidder pays additional $3.00 for first-class mail in a reinforced cardboard photo mailer. Highest Canadian bidder pays an additional $10.00 for international first-class shipping. Highest bidder in other countries pays additional $12.00 for international first-class shipping. These are fixed-rate charges regardless of the actual weight or zip code. If you are in Washington state, as of January 2019, be aware that eBay automatically adds the state sales tax to the total amount due. Item is as described or your money refunded without a fuss. :) Thanks for stopping by!
