I also want to remind bidders that in an auction YOU are responsible for the end price of an item. I cannot offer returns or cancellations on auction items where customers have become "carried away" by the bidding process resulting in paying more than they had intended for an item. Only leave a bid of the amount that you are happy to pay and if you have any questions about the item please make all queries well in advance of the end of the auction! You are entering into a binding contract when you bid on an item.
Please be aware that most of the linens and textiles that I sell are old, have been pre-owned and used and as a result may have flaws commensurate with age and use. Unless stated in the main description, these are not immediately noticeable. If you expect a new, pristine condition item please think carefully before bidding. I have to stress this as some customers appear to expect immaculate items with no signs of previous use. If you are not accustomed to vintage linens then please ask questions before bidding. Many, if not all, linens will also have a laundry mark - either in indelible ink or embroidery onto an edge or a corner. This dates the item to a time when linen was sent out of the home to be laundered. If this will be a problem for you please enquire about any laundry marks for a specific item before bidding or buying.
