19th Century, a truly magnificent German Secessionist Inkstand Inkwell with matching letter opener both with the same exquisite gilt brass cover and  Walnut Burl design , made by Erhard & Söhne, ca 1860. Made in Germany by the company Erhard & Söhne which was originally established by Carl Gottlieb Erhard and his sons in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1844. In remarkable antique condition with age-appropriate wear and use . Original glass interior . Inkwell measures 31 cm long by 19 cm wide 9 cm high. Letter opener is 23,5 cm long. MUSEUM PIECES!
