South East Antiques are pleased to offer this fine antique desk . Dating from circa 1900, this Cuban flame mahogany bureau is in the Chinese Chippendale revival taste. It has a fall front op0ening to fitted and blind fret decorated interior with tooled leather surface over an arrangement of three freize drawers raised on a stand base with storage under tier. The desk comes into two parts for ease of transport and has its original key. It is in sturdy vintage condition and free from woodworm. The writing desk measures 78 cm (30 3/4 in) wide by 106 cm (41 3/4 in) tall and 42 cm (16 1/2 in) deep. Please contact us with any questions before bidding or buying.
