Antique Georgian porcelain spill vase hand decorated with a central vignette of flowers on cobalt blue background. Completed with gilding painted leaves and border lines. The vase has a classical trumpet shape with some beading bordering the blue coloured section. The vase is unmarked, it is in the style of similar vases by Derby and Spode, probably made in Staffordshire, England. Dating to early 19th Century, English 1820-30s.Another similar spill vase is listed. Measurements: About 12 cm high, 9.5 cm diameter at the top, 5.8 cm wide at the base. Condition: The vase is in good condition, no visible cracks or repairs. The colours look good, almost no loss of paint. There is chip to the base rim and another smaller chip or firing defect.
