English antique sterling silver soup ladle by Thomas Ellis, London c.1785.

Hallmarks somewhat rubbed but makers mark is easily seen and is that of Thomas Ellis so we can easily date to c.1785.

In excellent order with just 2 very very small dinks to bowl, very minor and you have to move around in the light to spot these so not at all considered drastic nor unsightly.

Measures 13 3/4 inches long with the bowl measuring 88mm across.
