Antique Ormolu Mounted Limoges Enamel Jewel Casket Box c.1870 This is a beautiful antique French Limoges ormolu mounted enamel rectangular bombe shaped table casket, circa 1870. The casket has yellow enamel panels that are decorated with poppies and country flowers, within jewelled turquoise cabachon borders, outlined with beading. Raised on ormolu cornucopia legs that terminate in pad feet. There is no mistaking its unique quality and design, which is sure to make it a treasured piece for any discerning collector.
