  • Here is a an outstanding piece. It is a large antique flower vase, made of red unglazed Clay or Terracotta. 
  • Finest enameled ornamentation throughout. 
  • Lion head handles. 
  • Hand formed three-toed dragon on body. 
  • Chrysanthemum flowers, a symbol of Japanese Imperial power. 
  • Paper tag on underside, as well as a character stamp. 
  • Tokoname pottery, Imperial ware.
