Hi, I have for many years been collecting Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Southeast asian antiques, equally my parents collected so each week i will be listing a small amount of the finest quality items on Ebay, please keep me listed and help me get a 100% feedback score.   OBJECT// Antique Japanese carved Boxwood Netsuke of a wonderful seated Puppy with Black Horn inlayed eyes, marvellous detail to the bottom and his paws, big strong bold Himotoshi holes to base, the design forming a good and compact Netsuke, excellent details to the piece, glowing colour and patina, like all good Netsuke it as good from every angle including the bottom, the piece is 19th century, Meiji period, excellent colour and patina, serious collectors item, Please note all these items came from the same source, a dear friend in Japan who recently passed away, a lifelong Buddhist which is rejected in the fine pieces selected, i hope he is at peace, collected from London in the 1950/60s.
