Item:302215887403This beautiful Japanese blue-white bowl. I believe it's early 1900's. There's Shimazu clan (CIRCLE WITH CROSS) marking around the top edge of the bowl, so I assume it's early 1900 or even late 1800. It's heavy and weighs about 7 lbs or so. There's no crack or chip other than natural uneven glaze. See photos. I bought this in mid 1980's in a Japanese Antique store on La Cienega Blvd in Los Angeles. There were two as a pair, but it was too expensive, so I only purchased one. It's beautiful blue and 12" diameter, and looks great with fruit in it as center piece on dining table or coffee table. That's the only information I have about this bowl. Please take look at the photo closely, and if you need more photos, I'll be more than happy to send it to you.Condition:No chips or cracks., Color:Blue, Type:Bowls, Age:1900-1940, Region of Origin:Japan, Primary Material:Porcelain & Pottery, Original/Reproduction:Original
