ANTIQUE HAND STITCHED DURHAM STRIPPY QUILT. This auction is for a Victorian hand stitched Durham strippy quilt. Early Victorian fabric - beautiful neat hand stitching and a good design - entirely hand stitched. Pale blue and pale lemon fabric on one side and white on the other. Exceptionally large with a good overhang - 104" x 98" and in good vintage condition. Very slight fading in places and a little surface wear commensurate with age - one small break and a rust mark - see pictures. All in all a good honest quilt and a nice survivor - thanks for looking. Please note the majority of the items I sell are vintage and have had a previous "life" so there will be signs of use and wear - this is the nature of antique and vintage - any major imperfections will be stated. All items of jewellery will come boxed though not necessarily the one shown in the listing. In the event that I have made a serious error in my description a full refund will be given - otherwise no returns. I normally use signed for delivery for security and peace of mind when items are within the £48 limit but when items achieve more than this amount I will then send via Next Day Delivery and the cost will be increased to cover this. I do appreciate the items being paid for straightaway and these will be normally sent next day provided they are paid for the evening before. I am very happy always to combine postage for multiple purchases to reduce costs.
