This is a large hand carved wooden Bird, I believe it's an Eagle. It measures 14 1/2" tall and weighs about 9lbs, it was an estate sale purchase and I am not sure the age or history of this, it is unsigned and unmarked.  This looks well made and is in good condition, I don't see any major cracks or flaws.  I think this may be walnut but I am not sure, it is somewhat heavy at 9lbs and the eyes look like they may be glass but I'm not positive, it's a beautiful piece either way, please see the pictures closely and if you have any questions please ask.
