Antique French Ormolu & Onyx Marble Centrepiece Plinth Swan Handles by EH 19th C. Stunning piece with quality piece of Onyx approx 3/4" inch thickness. Wear to the original gilding, particularly on the swan handles, but many areas of the sides with impressive thick gilding remaining. Stamped underneath in several places EH makers initial mark. Diameter of the marble is 11.5" inch approx. Outer diameter 13" inch approx, and measurement end to end from the swan ends 18" inch approx, weighs approx 6.75kg. A very impressive piece for the table centre.
  • Condition: Antique Item with age related wear to the gilt finish. some scratches, marks to the onyx surface. some bends to the open border pieces.
