A very impressive French brass and gilt decorative Rococo style mantel clock on stand with scrolling foliate design throughout and musical instruments to the front finished with cherub finial. The clock has a white enamel dial and a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell. The clock movement is stamped with the makers name:- Japy Freres The back plate is stamped with the retailers name:- Henry Marc Paris Height - 47 cm (18 ½ inches) Width - 28 cm (11 inches) Depth - 17 cm (6 ½ inches) Circa - 1880
