This lovely antique mahogany tripod fire screen (for the face) stand probably dates from the late Victorian era, circa 1890's to 1900.
The firescreen pole is approximately 50", 128 cm in height, the width of the base/ feet is approximately 16", 42 cm.
The oval top panel, with the beautiful embroidery is about 15", 39 cm x 17", 43 cm.
The lovely, very colourful embroidery of exotic birds (cockatoos) and flowers is in good condition but is not glazed and I do not know whether it ever had a glass front.
There are inevitably a few condition issues, so please take the time to view all of the photographs as these are always the most helpful part of a condition report, but please also read the item specifics and my written condition report, prior to bidding. Thank you.
Postage is £20 and due to the size of the screen is restricted to mainland UK addresses only.
