Mardi Gras syrup Duncan #42 Empire AKA Paneled English Hobnail with Prisms, Siamese Necklace . Non Flint Manufactured by George Duncan’s Sons & Company , Washington , PA.1899 Production continued by Duncan & Miller Glass Company circa 1898. The syrup is clear any colors you see in the photographs are reflections of the indoors where I took the photos. This syrup sits upright on level surface and has the lovely bubbles, straw marks and waviness common to this era of glassware. Clarity and color of the glass is excellent four-part mold. Lid is not attached the plaster of paris is gone. Two annealing marks in handle. Wear on base is commensurate with age.. Please email with questions or comments.
