This beautiful antique 100+ year-old fine china plate from Empire Works, Stoke on Trent, England, measures 9 ¾” in diameter, ¾” deep in the center and weighs 1 pound, 0.7 ounces. This plate has a circle measuring 5 ¼” in diameter in the middle with beautiful flowers in a bunch. Around the middle circle is a bright rose red color with gold leaves and two small panels with additional flower groups on the sides of the rose red area. On the back in gold is the logo of Empire Works which can be dated by the design to the period, 1896 to 1912, 2 years before the start of World War 1. The plate has no cracks, chips or scratches but some aging and is in fine condition.
