PLEASE NOTE: I have just received some excellent quality clocks from a private collection all of which have been well looked after all of which will be listed over the next few months. First of all: The pictures do not do this clock justice at all. It looks 100 times better in the flesh. It was very hard to get good photogrpahs of it because of the light

This clock is a truly beautiful antique English regency carved mahogany triple fusee musical 8 bell bracket clock of superb proportions

The case features a regency style rococo shape
design with orignal carved vine scroll decoration over the front edge, all the carved decoration is in great original condition

The case is in great condition for age and looks amazing wherever it is displayed totally orginal with original figured patina and colour. The mahogany has a fantastic colour and patina to it which can only be acquired through age and looks a lot better in the flesh than the pictures show. This is exactly how i have received it and it looks 100% better in the flesh

The clock features a silvered dial with original fine english hands again all in great original condition with only minimal wear protected by its glass hinged brass bezel door with a turn latch to hold it shut. The dial is signed by the maker to the centre Cussons of York

The movement is triple fusee striking on 8 bells. The whittington chiming musical chimes every quarter of an hour on 8 bells and the hourly strike on a seperate bell on the hour after the musical chimes have finished playing. 

The movement is in perfect working order and is chiming superbly and ticks away beautifully as you can see in the video above
 

The clock measures an impressive 22.5 inches high x 17 inches wide x 8 inches deep and looks super impressive wherever it is displayed

This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece. Looks absoultely fantastic wherever it is displayed and a true talking point of any room
