Seller: iwcforme (1.460) 99.4%, Location: Nottinghamshire, Ships to: Americas, Europe, Asia, AU, Item: 293100341627 Had this one in my collection for quite a while.Made by Phillip Haas & Sohne of Germany who opened a London Office 1871.I think they probably imported movements for casing in the UK as this case looks like good English oak. Stamped with the German maker's mark which is a hare and stamped along with the gong support PHS The clock movement has been fully serviced and is in good working order. The case is of solid wood with oak veneer construction and in really good condition, Finished off on the front with inlays , ths sides with brass side handles and the base with brass bun feet. The back door fits snugly The silvered dial is commensurate with age and still presents well ( see photos). It is protected by a cast brass bezel fitted with bevelled convex glass. Always a sign of quality in a clock All in all a genuine example from this fine clock company Dimensions 12.5 inches high, 9.5 inches across the base , 5.25 inches in depth . A lovely sized clock which will look good in any setting, period or modern. See pictures for details as they form major part of the description. All items are described as I see them and sold as seen. Judge for yourself about age, condition and description before purchasing. Please remember, by their very nature of being old / antique, some clocks may have minor imperfections to the case, commensurate with age, but nothing, however, which diminishes the overall pleasing appearance. All cases are lightly cleaned and polished and sold as seen. Please note that mechanical clocks movements are quite sensitive and invariably need resetting and balancing after transportation and some knowledge of doing so is advisable, to save disappointment. Collection preferred but will post at buyers request and risk. Please see check out notes for full details. Notes on Postage Items leave me very well packed and in first class working and presentational order and will always be sent, via courier, at buyer’s risk, fully insured. Delivery in the UK will be charged at £ including insurance. Whatever the final cost, if higher than listed, the buyer agrees to pay the difference. If less then, naturally we will automatically refund the difference once the actual cost is known Please know that the postal service will not insure antiques and glass so insurance will only covers against loss in transit International delivery I will post abroad including far east countries, but please be aware postage costs are expensive. Guided by previous postings I estimate around £ inclusive of insurance BUT depending on final weight and destination, cost could be higher. I do not wish to profit or loose on postal charges. I always seek the best economical rate for you. N.B. Postal costs are subject to ebay charges. So …International buyers please wait for invoice with final postage fees determined and added to the invoice. This is to ensure you pay nothing more than the true cost for postage and insurance, Couriers require a contact telephone number and an email address so please include your details on the payment advice form to save postal delay All items posted at buyer’s risk Any questions via ebay messaging service or SMS to 07811 780653 Please note I do not sell outside of ebay during the listed period so please do not ask.
