Item:401645886838Fine Quality Antique "Swiss Made" Art Deco Travel Clock in Crocodile Skin Case. c1920 All working as it should, crown winds the movement & sets hands when pulled out, movement keeps time without any obvious loss or gain over a number of days.I have not attempted to remove the clock from the case nor have I cleaned any part.Face of clock reads:"8 Days & Swiss Made" makers name is detailed below the 12 but too faint to decipher.I only noticed when photographing that there looks to be a closed hairline fissure running towards the numbers 5 & 11, see photos, it`s tightly closed & very difficult to make out, no chips or loss of enamel. Lid of case is initialed M D P, the clock itself is weighty, the glass is glass & not plastic & in good condition, the gold crown is original & oversized, the back of the case opens to reveal movement. Movement reads "brevete 55236" "Swiss made" & has adjustment for speed.Inside back cover (Silver?) reads "44 Swiss 1032474" & has a series of hand engraved numbers etc that I imagine are maker or servicing dates? Dimensions of case - 10cm x 10cm (4.") Weight 288g The clock will be fully protected during shipping.
